Burn Recovery Pages - Follow up January 2007
Thank you for visiting my Burn Recovery Pages.
The accident occured in January 1998. These pages were originally
written to keep in communication with our out-of-town families &
let them know how the recovery process was going. We were very
surprised that our in-town friends also relied on the pages to track
our progress.
Little did we know that we were "blogging" long before it became
fashionable. During the time that these pages have been on the net we
have heard from many other burn survivors and their family members.
Because of this I've kept the pages up. Maybe our experiences can be
helpful to others who may be facing similar situations. I have left the
pages as they were written and originally posted.
Though life changes in many ways (so for the better, some for the
worse), I have been very fortunate that my physical recovery has gone
well. Even as late as 2001 there were areas that were thought to be
chronic problems that have continued to improve. In that way I have
been very fortunate.
